Duo of Dips: Pico de Gallo – Part 1

Pico De Gallo is one of the most versatile condiments around. it is good along, on fish, chicken and so much more.

Together with guacamole, they are toppings for my Chicken Nachos recipe which will be posted soon.

Pico de Gallo, a super simple dip made from fresh tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, and lime juice.  When trying to turn my process into a recipe I realized, while it is very easy to make it, it is not as easy to turn into an actual method.  This due to the difference yields and flavors you get from the limes and tomato respectively.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to develop

Notes

If you desire a spicier pico, use serranos instead of jalapenos.
